Meet the Maker
Hey friend! I am Rachel, the one-woman show behind Meejy Handmade. I created this little shop of mine to express myself from my head and heart and through my hands.
I am a Gemini so you will probably notice some duality in the items I make. It is where I draw my main inspiration from. Sometimes sweet, innocent, and playful… sometimes spicy, loud and rowdy. It is who I am at my core. I also draw inspiration from textures, color, pop culture, and my previous work experience with restaurants and food.
I currently live in the Burlington area of Vermont but have roots along the central coast of California and Providence, Rhode Island. I am married to my best friend and a mama to 3 spunky babes. Our furbaby who crossed the rainbow bridge in June of 2023 is forever immortalized in my shop. Maryjane aka MJ aka Meejy was the epitome of all things sassy, classy, and badassy. We sure do miss her ❤️
